Hi Alan, I did look into this when I initially added the counties as I noticed it is missing and I live in Middlesex ... or so I thought. Middlesex is not actually a county, even though it is generally referred to as one.

Gosh - well I never...

I just imported a load of Leads into a client's new OpenERP system and a couple of them had Middlesex listed as their county. So even though it isn't a "proper" county, it seems as though it is still used and recognised...

"Despite the disappearance of the county, Middlesex is still used informally as an area name and was retained as a postal county; which is now an optional component of postal addresses"

As companies are still using it in their addresses, then surely it makes sense to include it in the list as it just breaks imports otherwise? I had a file I used in the past (attached) to add counties to OpenERP (with an extra column splitting them by England, Scotland, Wales etc.) This has 161 lines compared to 152 including a few that probably don't officially exist but still get used by folk.

Not sure is this is useful, but it's quite interesting anyway.

Hi Alan, feel free to add additional counties if you feel they should be included.
