Bug Description

It would be great to have a plugin, that allows to restart or shutdown the pc directly. At this time, this is only possible through the gnome session manager.

A rewrite of the gnome session plugin to use the session manager's d-bus api would be cool. Contributors very welcome.

Not possible using SessionManager AFAIK. Shutdown() just brings up the dialog.

Might be possible using ConsoleKit.

Should we have a new plugin to directly shutdown/restart or modify the session plugin to use ConsoleKit?
