Bug Description

I'm using the latest ubuntu (compiz+gnome) and when I press my shortcut combination to launch kupfer, the first time it gains focus, as expected. The second, the window appears but the window I had focus on still keeps it, forcing me to click on the kupfer window to use it.

Expected result: always gain focus when launching

I have the same problem, but a little differently. I launch kupfer from gnome menu and if kupfer is closed by losing focus (without clicking the close button), the next time it launches, it doesn't gain focus by default.

On my Scientific Linux box (running compiz-0.8.2, gtk2-2.18.9) launching Kupfer with a keyboard-shortcut to the kupfer command, would launch Kupfer without giving it focus. Using no compiz, would work fine.

Installing python-keybinder (v0.9.0 will compile against gtk+ 2.18) and setting the shortcut from withing kupfer, solved my focus problem.
