Bug Description

I have noticed that it is not possible to edit or modify a textleaf object (such as input pressing "." or from selected text, clipboard, etc). It would be a really useful feature to make a quick tweak to such entries by using a hotkey, opening the text input field as "." would do, but filling with the current text object.

This would remove the need to open a third program to act as buffer to edit a text snippet, correct typos or mistakes in manually-filled text (such as modifying a command like "sudo myapp -option 1 -file /home/myhome/myfile.my -setting foo", where I want to modify it to "-setting bar", avoiding writing it from scratch), and other possible uses like easier modification of URLs (for example setting two small files to download with similar URLs, such as "www.myserver.net/myfile.c" and "www.myserver.net/myfile.h").

This would be of course just filling the text input with the current content, no need to add any other complex editing features.
