Kupfer takes too long to notice new OpenSearch definition

Bug Description

When I add a new OpenSearch definition to
  ~/.local/share/kupfer/searchplugins
it takes Kupfer a couple of minutes to notice it.

It’d be great if Kupfer could notice new definitions instantaneously – as it does with new applications, for example.

Sure. Just noting that I think firefox search engines is the most common way to add opensearchers.

I frequently define my own queries, so I needed to figure out how to manually add OpenSearch definitions. ;)

In the long term, you might consider to extend the Firefox and Chromium extensions so that Kupfer imports user-defined searches (search engines in Chromium and keyword bookmarks in Firefox). Example: http://www.google.com/search?q=%s+site:wikipedia.org
