Can't accept arguments

Bug Description

I upgraded from c6 to c17, and kupfer doesn't accept arguments for command-line programs before.

Before I could run "disper -e", but now it ignores the space - making it "disper-e" which is wrong.

Thank you for reporting issues with Kupfer!

Kupfer has changed a lot since c6, I would say myself it is more than twice as good. One important change was in release c9, I made the interface modal -- that means in the default command mode, some keys are commands rather than actions -- so space is go to next match, / is go into catalog (same as right-arrow) etc.

If you want to type freely, you have to press . (period) or Ctrl+. to enter text mode.

Most keybindings are documented as a part of the Kupfer Tips page:

http://live.gnome.org/Kupfer/Tips

And you might want to review the kupfer release history for more information on changes and additions:

Hope this answers your question.

One convenient solution would be to make command-lines "bookmarkable", that is eliglible for "Add to Favorites" that way could you add whole commandlines that you could match without typing them in full.
