Bug Description
I deleted a folder that previously I'd added to folder search catalog. kupfer stopped responding to keystrokes. Removing the folder in preferences didn't help - it kept reappearing there. I had to do a complete uninstall and reinstall via synaptic package manager. I'm on Xubuntu 12.04.2

I can't reproduce this problem.
Please attach log from kupfer --debug
If you select folder in Kupfer and enter into it, then delete, you can always return to top level of the list by pressing backspace.
Always you can remove Kupfer cache (rm -f ~/.cache/kupfer/* ) instead of uninstalling Kupfer.
