Bug Description

I'm under xfce4 desktop environment. There are some ".desktop" files in "/usr/share/applications/", contain "OnlyShowIn=XFCE;" So it will not appear in the other DE menu (Gnome etc.).
These ".desktop" shortcuts shown normally in the main menu in XFCE4. But when I typed them in kupfer I found nothing. Does Kupfer simply recognized "OnlyShowIn" as "NotShowIn" ?
I think it is a serious problem and need to be fixed asap.

Update.

Please check configuration of "Application" plugin.
You can select your desktop environment.
Please change this setting, close kupfer, clear cache (rm -f ~/.cache/kupfer/*) and check again.

Change the configuration of "Application" plugin does fix the problem. Thank you.
But I'm using another desktop environment call "MATE" in my second computer, that is a folk of gnome2. And today I heared about E17 team have released their official version,I think many people also want to have a try. So would you please add these two DEs in the configuration ?
