On this URL you will notice that you mistyped the instructions for installing the beta KDE packages. I've only noticed because I copied them and pasted them directly into a terminal emulator, instead of typing them myself.
You wrote "sudo apt-get dist-uprade" without a 'g'; it should be "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade"...
