Bug Description
hi!
splitted this task away from bug 1532157 (status:fixed) into this one,
since it's easier to follow-up on both sides this way.
Subject: Kubuntu Release Notes 15.10 [1]
-- Section: _Known Problems_
needs this line:
Problems in the installer, graphics and kernel are listed on the common _release notes_. (combine link [3] or [4])
This one-liner was taken from RN Kubuntu 14.04 LTS [2] and adoptet for Wily to ease the work.
=======
As the underlying system is not impeccable it is welcome to have Kubuntu users informed e.g. to switch in case of AMD-closed-
Even though this bug got fixed just recently, it's not fair on Kubuntu-users to hide away this important piece of information - and not to make it easy accessible.
We actually will be needing this then ongoing with 16.04 Alpha2 -> final
Also now it might be helpful for upgraders from Vivid 15.04
Thanks for helping to get Kubuntu better every day
best regards

Confirmed by myself since I know I can trust my eyes.
Looking at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Releases
and knowing that Vivid Vervet reaches EOL later this month, I'd like to know if there is some progress on this, as it was overseen in Oct.2015, obviously.
Remembering that it was possible to use the backports-ppa to update to a more recent version of KDE5. my memory doesn't rewind that much, knowing if this would introduce some breaks/failures - it might need an extra note?
