Can't use right mouse button in konsole after closing a tab or configuring the current profile

Unfortunately none of the workarounds there help. Whenever I change some in my profile or close a tab through the right click menu, the menu is gone afterwards. I found other KDE konsole bugs mentioning something similar with google, but that forum thread seems to be the most recent one.

Oops, I should clarify: the right click context menu disappears, after using that very same menu to close a tab or after clicking 'Configure Current Profile', the right click context menu is impossible to open again. Right clicking will just do nothing and you have to restart the whole konsole instance to regain the abilitiy to open the right click menu.

This bug-report is about a version that has reached status=End-of-life-cycle/unsupported.

This bug was fixed in a newer version of Kubuntu.

If you find any annoying bugs in life-cycle=supported versions of Kubuntu, don't hesistate to report them.
