Close tab icon in Konsole greyed out and non responsive

Upgraded to KDE 4.6.1 in Kubuntu 10.10 and when I tried to close a tab in Konsole I noticed that the icon was greyed out and that clicking on it didn't close the tab. Using the menu entry or Ctrl+Shift+W still close the current tab.

konsole Bugfixes:

* Fix issue where the context menu popup no longer appeared after closing a tab. A couple of close methods have been disabled until they can be fixed. Fixes bug 185466. See Git commit 18dd5bd.

So they've disable the closing of tabs, as having that active causes a major problem when the fix to another bug is applied?

Anyway, presumably an upstream issue?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Kubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Kubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 731442

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
