PyQt4 applications fail to start (including python plasma widgets)

Bug Description

Applications fail with the following (or a variation) printed to the console:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/eric/modules/eric4.py", line 60, in <module>
    from KdeQt.KQApplication import KQApplication
  File "/usr/share/eric/modules/KdeQt/__init__.py", line 20, in <module>
    import Preferences
  File "/usr/share/eric/modules/Preferences/__init__.py", line 26, in <module>
    from PyQt4.QtWebKit import QWebSettings
ImportError: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/PyQt4/QtWebKit.so: undefined symbol: _ZN16QGraphicsWebView20setResizesToContentsEb

PyQt4 version: 4.10.5-0ubuntu1-0ubuntu1~maverick1~ppa2

Does not work even after rebuilding the package from sources.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Kubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Kubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 728701

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
