Bug Description

Updated to latest Plasma 5.5.3 from Kubuntu backports
Dragging files or icons (or any other elements) around the desktop acts weird

The item you are dragging slooowly trails your mouse.

For example, if i drag a file from dolphin into VLC, "floating" file object trails the path of the mouse extremely slowly, like there is an error in the smoothing function. It can take up to 10 seconds for a drag to complete across a 1080 screen.

Happens when i drag anything so far. Icons on desktop, taskbar to desktop, etc

Check my video to see what i mean

Kubuntu 15.10
NVIDIA 361.18 (happens in 352 and Nouveau as well - didn't test more)
Plasma 5.5.3 from backports
Breeze theme

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Kubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Kubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
