black flickering

Hello,

I'm a bit unclear where and how to file this bug, but I'd much appreciate some feedback on how to find out what's wrong.

I've installed kubuntu-plasma5-desktop and did apt-get dist-upgrade, and even installed kexec-tools, to get a faster reboot, but that required a reset (even though I've been on 3.16-...something, already). I opted for SDDM when installing kubuntu-plasma5-desktop. So, this happens when using SDDM and chosing Plasma. The same happens with Project Neon 5.

Rebooting and I get back lightdm. Xfce works fine.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Kubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Kubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 1393127

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
