Bug Description

Upon connecting to a facebook account using kopete, the account will remain in 'connecting' state indefenitely. Kopete is able to receive messages, which will show up in the chat window normally. However, when trying to send a message, a messagebox appears with "Please connect first".

This is a regression. The bug was introduced to my system by a distribution upgrade from 13.04.

Description: Ubuntu 13.10
Release: 13.10

kopete:

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.

Thanks!
