[Edgy] v1.0.1 Excess Flood due to /WHO on connect

upon connecting to irc.freenode.net with Konversation 1.0.1 on Edgy I get booted for excess floods.

In order for me to connect, I have to goto 'Settings -> Configure Konversation -> Behavior -> Chat Window' and disable the "Enable Automatic User Information Look Up (/WHO)"

OK, so it allows me to connect, but it doesn't look up everyone, and provide hostmasks. So when I move my mouse over a person, I get a tooltip with just their username. Granted this bug isn't severe, and more of an annoyance, but it is still a bug.

I can connect to everyone of my channels just fine using IRSSI, X-Chat, BIP (IRC Proxy), and KVirc.

I can't confirm this on my fresh installation of edgy. Konversation 1.0.1 on Edgy. Is it still a problem?

What are the options "Max. numbers of users in a channel" and "Update interval" set to?

This problem has been fixed upstream. You need to connect to quite a few channels that have greater than 200 members in the channel. The only way to fix this was to shut off the auto /who, or bring the amount below 100 I believe.

Brandon: If you catch this before I talk to you, this is referring to the patched files that psn and myself worked on. I "was" running the patched version here successfully, and it was working fine.

Do we have any idea of when this patch will make it into Kubuntu repositories? Has konversation had a release with this patch included yet?

It should be in the Feisty repos now. The Edgy or Dapper repos I do not know about yet. I will ping the maintainer.
