Please upgrade the novnc version!!

Bug Description

The novnc version we currently have in kolla-ansible or the openstack nova directly from ubuntu is OLD. It does not support clipboard is bugged af.

PLEASE UPDATE IT.

AFAIK nova does not require a specific novnc version and the version is selected by deployment tools or the distribution, so I'm moving this bug to kolla.

Which Ubuntu version and OpenStack version are you using ? If novnc is installed by the default package[1] then you should ask the Ubuntu packaging team for the upgrade package.

It does not, but the version we are using is very old and it:
1) Does not support many features.
2) Clipboard does not work.
3) Many new features are not working (it's a decade old!)

This is the package which kolla-ansible pulls for nova-novncproxy. And so does most nova packages.
The whole novnc of this is a decade old!!.
