Bug Description
Ironic fails to deploy nodes with ephemeral partitions using the iSCSI deploy driver (the default in kolla-ansible).
This can be reproduced by creating a nova flavor for baremetal nodes with some portion of the disk allocated to an ephemeral disk partition, then booting an instance with this flavor.
In order to format the ephemeral partition's file system, the ironic-conductor service needs access to the appropriate file system tools packages. The following packages should be installed in the ironic-conductor image in order to provide a base ephemeral disk formatting capability:
- e2fstools (ext)
- xfstools (XFS)
