Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu 18.04
Openstack Version: Rocky
Kolla-Ansible: 7.0.1
install_type: source ubuntu
built: self kolla: 7.0.1

It looks like the file ansible/roles/common/templates/conf/format/wsgi_python.conf.j2 is not deployed by kolla-ansible but needed by, eg. cinder-api.log

2019-08-14 15:23:56.426 20 WARNING cinder.quota_utils [req-7d5fc1ae-02dd-45cf-8664-5dddd85f6d28 11a98556cb354e488cd12af698be38ff xxxxxxxxxxxx - yyyyyyyyyyy zzzzzzzzz] Quota exceeded for xxxxxxxxxxx, tried to create backup (100 backups already consumed).: OverQuota: Quota exceeded for resources: ['backups']

I guess this is a bug?

Kolla-ansible stopped templating the file in queens (, but the template itself was not removed.

Fix proposed to branch: master

Changed in kolla-ansible:
assignee: nobody → Mark Goddard (mgoddard)
status: New → In Progress

Ok i get it but it looks like nothing from /var/log/kolla/cinder/cinder-wsgi.log is written to elasticsearch? At leat I got 0 hits in Kibana for all request_ids in this logfile?

Ok, could you try adding the file back and seeing if that fixes the problem?
