Comment 26 for bug 999057

Could someone point to the relevant discussion on the dev list? My google search for this bug number and site:lists.launchpad.net does not turn up anything in the past year.

Assuming that there is a plan (and reworking the connection algorithm sounds like a great idea), shouldn't this bug be promoted beyond "new issue, wishlist, unassigned"? It is currently leading all other issues in heat-index by more than 2-to-1.

Particularly since the devs are prepared to turn down actual patches (see above), shouldn't an actual priority be assigned?
