Bug Description
Wayne had reported that the specctra_test program does not build. I plan on carving out the main() function into a new source file and including that new source file (its object file) in the link image for the test program. This way others will see sooner when the program gets broken during the normal build of the project.

I created a new source file specctra_test.cpp, and there is no need to edit specctra.cpp to build the program specctra_test. specctra_test is building fine for me.
