[Feature Request] Edit properties of multiple items at the same time

It would be very useful if I could select multiple items (of anything), go into properties and be able to edit them for all of the selected items at the same time. For instance, setting a type of 10 pins in Symbol Editor at the same time without having to open options for each one one-by-one. It should also work in other editors so there should probably be some kind of a generic interface for this but I'm not exactly sure what I'm talking about at this point.

I couldn't find another feature request tracking this feature but I would expect there to be one. I'm also interested in *trying* to implement this feature but I want to see what everyone thinks about this.

@nuff, a similar feature is available for track objects, but yes, it could be nice for the footprint editor. In the meantime you can copy the settings from one pad and push it to other selected pads.
