Make the snapping modifier key user changeable

Bug Description

Using alt plus click (to ignore grid snap and force item snap) does not seem to be counted as a click for the measure tool.

I am on fedora. I am not aware of 5.1 nightlies for this platform.

@Rene, I think this is a window manager issue. I saw this on Mate when the window settings used Alt+Click to move the window. When that happens, KiCad never receives the mouse event for the click. Can you check in the window settings of your system to see if it uses Alt (I believe this is also in Gnome) and try changing it to the super key?

You might be right with your assumption. But i am not sure if it is a good idea to require the operating system (or a part of it) to change around a program. Can the function of the alt key be mapped to another key somewhere within kicad? (I could not find it in the hotkey list)

No, currently there is no way for a user to modify the snapping modifier key.
