Bug Description

I need to create PCB with ridiculously long traces (4000 to 8000mm) and i wanted kicad to generate the zig-zag pattern for me, so i've tried "tune track length" feature. But it turns out the longest trace i can do is 2147mm, 2148mm and more can't be done.

Can you please increase this?

According to IRC it's probably caused by internal representation of length in micrometers as signed 32 bit number... So i understand it might be hard to increase.

Thank you

Why not make two (or 4) nets separated by net-ties each of length 2m? (This is such a specialized usecase i doubt you will find this high on the priority list.)

@Harvie, please include your KiCad version information. We should fix this. I know it's not very common but it is a bug.

Fixed for v6. I hesitate to cherry-pick this before we have a chance to test it out thoroughly as it changes a number of internals.
