symbol editor (modern toolset): graphic rectangle resizing doesn't work

Bug Description
Graphic rectangles nowadays seem to have a bit different editing capabilities with four corner boxes when it's selected. I try to resize the rectangle by dragging a corner, but it resizes it strangely, inverting coordinates, and so that the result is always only zero width or height or both.

The dragging of handles y-direction seems to be inverted.
