i don't which side it layed but when i using kicad 5.1 on kubuntu kubuntu freeze regularly when i using kicad. pitty enough because kubuntu is a good OS

Which apps of kicad are effected?
If it is pcb_new/footprint editor are all toolsets effected equally? (modern accelerated, modern fallback and legacy)
Are specific actions more likely then others to cause a freeze? (Is there a way to reliably trigger the freeze?)
And of course: what is the detailed version info of your installation? (help->about->copy version info)
