The step export log says approximately this (paths and times are replaced):

The Step file will not actually be created.
The board file is attached (It is a very simplified actual project).

@Jeff: sorry, didn't see that mail in time! I pushed something (though LP Git's gone a bit weird, so not sure if the Janitor will be along or not...)
