Crash when closing pcbnew

Bug Description

I tried to close pcbnew but KiCad crashed.

Application: kicad
Version: (5.1.0-34-g078320e2f), release build
Libraries:
    wxWidgets 3.0.4
    libcurl/7.61.1 OpenSSL/1.1.1 (WinSSL) zlib/1.2.11 brotli/1.0.6 libidn2/2.0.5 libpsl/0.20.2 (+libidn2/2.0.5) nghttp2/1.34.0
Platform: Windows 7 (build 7601, Service Pack 1), 64-bit edition, 64 bit, Little endian, wxMSW
Build Info:

Thank you for the crash dump. It's rather interesting. What I don't understand is how or why FOOTPRINT_PREVIEW_PANEL_BASE::Create() is being called after Close() is called for the main window frame. By chance did you have the insert footprint dialog open or the footprint tool enabled when you closed pcbnew?

Sorry, I closed pcbnew in the middle of doing something else, clicking the X-button in the window corner of pcbnew, and have no idea about what was going on. Drmingw was set as the default crash handler in Windows so it opened up the dump automatically.

@eelik, if you manage to reproduce this, please note to the best of your ability to remember what you did before the crash and post it to this bug report. There have been quite a few reports of crashes similar to this on windows. I suspect it is a very specific set of conditions that cause the problem. I'm having no luck reproducing any of them so the more information the better.
