Path variables don't use relative user path

Bug Description

When changing the username of a user on macOS the paths in "Configure Paths" do not update. Which means the user paths are hardcoded instead of using `~/whatever`.

I check a few other programs after updating my username and every program I check has updated correctly.

Obviously it wasn't very difficult to update 2 paths that were user relative but I thought I would still point it out.

I just tried using '~/' in the Configure Paths dialog and it worked fine for me. Does this not achieve what you need?
