Bug Description

Using KiCad Ver. 5.0.2-1 wxWidgets 3.0.4 on Win7 pro 32bit I wired a multi component device (here: MMBD4448HCQW). After auto annotation, pin numbers are altered/ units are switched dispite different settings/ options choosen. Although pins may be eqivalent in Eeschema, this leads to layout problems in PCBnew, where pin orientation fixed.

This bug may or may not be related to "#1024121 Auto annotation changes unit number"

Do not use "reset existing annotation" if you want to keep the units fixed. Use "reset but do not swap any annotated multi unit parts"? (The bug you linked likely was created before this option was available.)

If you did select the later then this is a clear bug.

Please add KiCad version information as well as an image of the before and after annotation and an image of your annotation window.
