"Clarify selection" disappears on ALT+LMB [MSW-only]

Bug Description

On 5.0.2 I still experience inconsistent behaviour on Footprint selection with LMB.
My footprints do not have the CourtYard layer defined.
This was reported previously https://bugs.launchpad.net/kicad/+bug/1723469 and supposed to be fixed.
Now I've discovered an enhanced "Clarify selection" Menu when ALT+LMB is pressed, but the Menu disappears automatically in a fraction of second, hence cannot use it to select my Footprint.
If I press SHIFT+ALT+LMB the menu persists.

I cannot reproduce in the current 5.1RC (or 5.0.1, for that matter). Could still be platform or toolkit specific.

Can you try a nightly and see if it's fixed for you? If this issue still present in nightlies, please add your version info (Help->About Kicad->Copy version info).

I assume that you can't reproduce the Disappearing "Clarify selection" menu using ALT+LMB combination.
I will check in the evening on a second machine with latest nightly installed.
So far one another user on kicad.info forum confirmed the behaviour.

I believe this may be a windows only bug. I'm seeing it on my windows 10 system. I have to use Alt+Shift+LMB to get the disambiguation context menu to stay visible. The context menu disappears immediately if I use Alt+LMB.

It seems to be Windows only, I took part in the discussion https://forum.kicad.info/t/kicad-5-0-2-pcbnew-inconsistent-footprint-selection/15179/8 and can affirm the bug on Windows 7 and Windows 10. However, I can't reproduce it on Linux (Kubuntu, KiCad with GTK3).
