Add option to plot each hierarchical sheet only once in eeshcema

Bug Description

Eeschema plots each hierarchical sheet as many times as the sheet is used if Plot All Pages is used. However, the result is difficult to navigate if there are e.g. more than 1 sheets and each is used more than two times. And the repeated sheets are not needed to verify the schematic because they are identical except for the references. Therefore I wish there was a possibility to plot each hierarchical sheet only once. For now I have used an external utility to extract only needed pages out of the pdf file, but it's not easy.

Was the status changed on purpose?

Having the 1 page printed to representing all the difference Reference on each hierarchy page is a changeling. I'm rather to have hierarchy block show the page number of the schematic so that when I review the printed version is clear which one I'm looking at at least. And if we can control page number too, that would be nice too.

@jeyjey I did change it on purpose. I thought Invalid was appropriate since it is not a bug but a request? Was I wrong? still new at this and would like to learn.

@Jessica, the database stores feature request items in the same records as bugs, so Invalid would mean it's an invalid feature request.

To mark it as a feature request just set the Importance field to "Wishlist"; the Status field can be left "New" or set to "Confirmed". (A developer might set it to "Triaged", which sort of means it's been looked at and is a reasonable way to go -- but doesn't necessarily mean anyone will implement it.)

Cheers,
Jeff.

@Jeff Ahh I see but I had no access to change the Importance column therefore I was not able to change to "Wishlist" which was the next best thing. Is there any way to go about this when I don't have access to edit the Importance column?

@Jessica, I think if you ask to join the bug squad you'll get access to Importance.
