Bug Description

Minor inconvenience

Editing the path variables from the library managers is a lot harder than need be. The dedicated path edit tool shows buttons for getting a file browser like tool. (After clicking into the field)
This button is missing from the fields in the library managers.

I just discovered that todays nighly does not have this fixed. Has this been marked as fixed on accident, has there been a regression or is there some bug in ubuntus nighly?

Did you click into the field? I get a folder icon in a button when I do.

But not in the path substitution fields.

Those aren't editable at all. (We only allow a selection in them in case you want to copy the path out.)

Hm i did not even try that to be honest. The fields look like they are editable so i just assumed they would be.

Might be a good idea to clearly mark them as not editable (make them darker for example)
Or alternatively: make them editable which would mean everything can be done from within the lib managers. No need to switch dialog. (Unless one needs to add new variables)
