Configure paths dialog cursor always at start (text enters in reverse)

There is something wrong with the editor for the Configure Paths... dialog:

* Open dialog
* Add a new entry
* CLick to enter the name
* Type: the cursor doesn't move, so you always enter at the start. Entering _ moves the cursor. Pressing "End" moves to the end, but it still won't move after entering text.
