Other bug related with this same dialog:
when I double click in the edge between two columns I just want to change the space of the column and this works fine. But also change the alphabetical order of the list like I had clicked also in the middle of the column title.

Another issue, but can be considered as a option: the columns width should start small and increase to fit the full text of the cells, like LiBreOffice Calc or Excel. Now it starts long, fitting all the text and decrease to a default width when I double click in the edge.

I just ran into this as well with the Datasheet field.

The hidden-columns-aren't-hidden bug is fixed.

The others are wxWidgets issues. While we could work around them, it would be difficult and I'm not sure it would be worth our time.

@jeff
I had report some issues related with wxWidgets unexpected behavior lately.
Is there any plan to update the wx version used by KiCad? Should we mark the milestone of these to that version? (of new wx)

@Hildo, there is a plan to update in the most general sense, but nothing specific as to when or to what version.
