I wish to have the feature to place some support lines/guides in PCB new for easily arranging components in one line or in multiple lines. Similar to the guide lines in Adobe PhotoShop. The line will have snap-in option so component will automatically snap to it when moved.

Hi Seth,

While it's not exactly the same feature, I've been working for a while on a 2D geometric constraint solver (something like [1], albeit much simpler) for Kicad, which can provide similar functionality.
