V5 Library browser issue

Bug Description

Hi,
I use KiCAD in my daily job. Mostly Nightly’s, but V5 too. V5 is installed in “KiCAD-V5” folder, Nigtlies in standard “KiCAD”. Im on Windows10x64(Pro).
Windows: 10-Pro, newest version (just all updated) x64bit
Workstation: TR1920X, 32G-RAM, Asus x399 ROG Mainboard, M.2 (System), SATA-SSD (Files)
V5 have issues in Footprint library browser - any ideas?

Got it!
I find the problem and how to fix it!
Problem was in AppData/Roaming/kicad/pcbnew file.
Moved file to desktop, restart KiCAD- all works back and KiCAD re-create this file.
Compared using Notepad++ seen differences as well.
Now it works!

@Sebastian, yes, this is likely because the two versions are sharing some settings (and fighting over them). Thanks for reporting back that you found the issue.

(In this particular case I think 5.1 has some defensive code to avoid the issue.)

V5.1?????? V5.0.0 is at the moment as stable, right?

That is correct, 5.0.0 is the most recent stable.

5.0.1 will be the next stable, to be released soon.

5.1.0 is probably 6 months out, give or take. The nightly builds are the current state of the 5.1.0 branch (although it's confusingly labelled as 6.0.0). You can run a nightly build to see what it looks like (or to help out finding bugs), but keep in mind that it is definitely not as stable as a stable release.
