Pcbnew not reading netlist: No footprints

Using Pcbnew's "Load netlist" function does not add any components to schematic. Libraries have been linked properly and CvPCB shows all components as being mapped to footprints, but netlist loader only shows infos regarding components being processed, as below:

"info: Processing component "U9:/5A71DD64/5A7222FE:Connector_PinHeader_2.54mm:PinHeader_2x08_P2.54mm_Horizontal".

Total warnings: 0, errors: 0.
Netlist update successful! "

This issue occurs on all schematics with all footprints.
