Bug Description
OS: Windows 10
Version: 5.0.0-rc2-
When I open a footprint preview window from CvPcb when I would like to associate footprints with symbols, I cannot close the preview, I have to close CvPcb screen.

Please include your build information. There were instructions on how to do this when you opened the bug report.
I don't understand the bug you are trying to report. I'm using windows 10 and I can assign footprints in CvPcb when the footprint preview window is open and I can close the footprint preview window without closing CvPcb. What steps did you take to create the bug and what behavior are you expecting. If you cannot explain it, a screen capture video can be really helpful.
