Bug Description

Hey there, working on macOS with no 3button mouse requires Touchpad Panning to be mandatory..
Panning the PCB editor works fine and smoothly just as the zooming.
Panning the SCH editor is terrybly slow and reminds playing Doom on my Atari..
How can I fix/improve performance of SCH display?

Okay, so the problem seems to be with Canvas render type..
You can select OpenGL in PCB editor, while you cannot select anything like this in SCH editor.

Default and Cairo render is also extremely slow and I guess one of them is used in SCH editor.

Is it possible to switch Canvas render mode to OpenGL in SCH editor?

Currently Legacy is the only canvas available in Eeschema. Switching to OpenGL will be the main focus of 6.0.
