Bug Description

Would be a usefull feature to have in the page settings (pcbnew and eeschema) a field for free text to write comments to the schematic or pcb in, like a changelog, version history and so on.

Is something like this planned?

There are 4 comment fields (Comment1 through Comment4). You can see them in the Page Settings dialog.

If you want them printed in the title block then use the PageLayout Editor to add them (they are %C0 through %C3).

I mark this as incomplete because this bug is too imprecise and it is not specified how this is to work.

According to documentation at http://docs.kicad-pcb.org/4.0.5/en/pl_editor.html#texts-and-formats the page layout editor supports comment fields %C0 to %C9, but the page settings dialog does not support all of them.

It would be nice to have some way to set these additional fields. I think it entails a file format change in schematic, so not trivial. Perhaps planned for v6?

It would also be nice to support other user defined fields like Eagle etc does.
