Bug Description
Hello,
in Cvpcb it is possible to show a preview of the footprint, but it would be also nice if there is a possibility to show the symbol. So you can check if the parts fit together (for example: Diode symbol pins: 1,2 and in the footprint it is A,K. It takes some time to find the problem why the footprint has no connection to it.)
Best regards,
Martin

There already is a viewer, you just have to open it by clicking on the
toolbar button that looks like a footprint with a magnifying glass. The
viewer is in a separate window which displays the footprint any time you
click on an entry in the footprint pane. If you are asking for a
separate pain in the view, then that is a different issue.
