Bug Description
Wishlist item probably. Because hierarchical sheet pins have zero length, it is very easy to have a wire segment linkin two adjacent pins, but hard to see superimposed on the sheet box outline.
I suggest that having a short external pin makes this much less likely as a wire bridging the pins would be obvious.

When horizontal/vertical mode is on we'll force a wire connected to a sheet pin to horizontal.
It'd be considerably harder to fix in unconstrained mode (where we don't automatically have at least two segments), but you'd have to work pretty hard to get the wire right along the sheet border without a vertical constraint, so I think it's probably OK to leave that mode alone.
