Bug Description

Applies to current developement master (9fe780f1b).

When routing in GAL, it's possible to end the track unexpectedly by clicking before placing via.

"Normal" routing:

* Start routing a trace (eg on F_Cu)
* Press 'V' to place a through via and switch layer
* Move the mouse to where the via should be
* Click to 'drop' the via where needed
* Via is places
* Continue routing on other side (B_CU)

"Terminated" routing:

* Start routing trace on F_Cu
* Move mouse to where via should be, click to place track node
* Press 'V' to place a through via and switch layer
* Do not move the mouse
* Click to 'drop' via
* Via is placed
* Routing is finished - need to click via again to continue

This is quite annoying when routing a track. I seem to find myself always placing the track node where I want the via before pressing 'V', which seems reasonable as I want to "lock in" the node.

In legacy mode, routing doesn't stop in this way.

I can't reproduce this on Mac. Was it fixed, or is it platform-specific?

I remember it was an issue at one point. It has been surely fixed, though I cannot find the commit hash now.
