Bug Description
I updated my build of the git master branch of Kicad. When I tried to start pcbnew a dialog popped up with an assertion message before the program appeared. I have attached a copy of the assertion message. If I click the Continue button I get another assertion message. If I keep clicking the Continue button pcbnew will finally start (after a total of four assertions).
I'm running Linux Mint 18.1 64-bit. The last commit listed in git log has the hash code of 94bef6abd29fc4c

Thank you for the patch. I can start pcbnew without any assertion messages.
