Bug Description
Inconsistent behaviour when setting up Paths.
Application: Footprint Editor -> Footprint Library Manager and Configure Paths dialogs.
Situation: I have a local folder whose name uses a UTF-8 character (language specific).
When I configure the path directly in Footprint Library Manager, the characters is allowed and no errors occur (use case 1 - see image 1);
When I configure the same path in the Configure Paths dialogs and using the placeholder in the Footprint Library Manager, I get "library not found" error (use case 2 - see image 2 and 3);
Regards,
Miron

Please paste the version information from kicad into your bug report. There should have been instructions how to do this when you submitted the bug. It appears that you are using osx but I cannot be sure. I just tested non-ASCII characters in paths on windows 7 and it works fine. I wonder if this is a local issue. Can anyone else duplicate this?
