Bug Description

In PCB editor

Read Net list dialog, it has a duplicate close button. The dialog has to be closed with the dialog close button. Two buttons for the same action causes confusion.

i am not sure that this is a bug, many system dialogs are shown with both a close button and the window decoration close button to the point that removing the close button could be more confusing

Indeed it's common to represent dialog windows with both form "Close" button and decorator cross button. Changing that will be VERY confusing. Besides, if I understand correctly, decorator's outlook and location is controlled by window manager of the OS and therefore will look different on different OS/window manager combinations.

I was doing some training on kicad last week, and confision comes with the
close button. It closes the net list file? it closes the dialog?

But if we agree that we need a close button, then we need to include a
close button in all the dialogs. For example, generate netlist (schematic)
hasnt a close button. Why not? Generate Bill of Materials, on the other
hand, has a close button.

Decorator buttons are part of the window manager, so, it will be consistent
across all windows and dialogs in the current user enviroment. But not all
applications have a close dialog.

The fact is that we have two buttons for the same action, dont we agree?

the generate netlist dialog has a cancel button which is the same as close, i guess the others could be changed to cancel instead of close...

although its potentially close in pcbnew to show that you can't cancel after loading..... And i would actually get annoyed if the close button was removed as that is the button i typically use as its closer to the read netlist button for me

ok, then we can make that label consistent and use the word "cancel"
instead of close. Cancel is more about the net list export process, and
close is directly related to the dialog window.

it has no sense to make the interface more complicated (more options to
choose consume more glucose from our brain) but well, it is a step.

I think this goes to wishlist as

we need to make UI more consistent with looking the buttons & button captions over on all the screens.
