Bug Description

Can you add a dialog similar to FreeCad's Macros dialog to run python scripts? You can see a screenshot of it here:

http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Macros

Ability to assign shortcuts to run a specific script or adding toolbar buttons would be great!

Example use case for that could be: running the python KLC-Check scripts from https://github.com/KiCad/kicad-library-utils

Isn't this feature provided by the action plugin? (Would mean this bug should have the status fix committed)

Yes, I would say so. But it is still considered an experimental feature. The devdocs says: "This option is disabled by default. Please note that this option is highly experimental and can cause Pcbnew to crash if Python scripts create an invalid object state within Pcbnew."
