Bug Description
- Another one for the wishlist -
Being a cross-platform user, I have noticed that there is antialiasing in OS X and Ubuntu for eeschema and pcbnew. This is not present in Windows, except in OpenGL mode in pcbnew. The antialiasing actually provides quite a bit more detail as text at a small size is readable.
This might be an inherent problem with Windows' font antialiasing, which generally sucks. Hopefully it's not.

Antialiasing has nothing to do with the platform directly but rather how wxDC implements the drawing on a given platform. We have no control over that and we do not have any intention of implementing it specifically on windows. At some point in the future, the opengl and cairo canvases will most likely be the only option for graphics rendering and the legacy canvas will be removed.
